Welcome to the first of several webpages dedicated to the Republic of Korea. I fell in love with Korea, from a distance, in the fall of 2002, when I started watching the amazing movies of the Korean New Wave. It was then only a matter of time—about nine months—before I had to see Korea in three dimensions for myself. I did, and I’m hooked.
The photos below are from my first trip to Korea, which also included Taiwan, from 15–29 September 2003. My route once in Asia was Tapei–Keelung–Taipei, in Taiwan, then Seoul–Jeju Island–Pusan–Seoul when I was in Korea.
